Is the commit history in my repo a key factor to evaluate for the prize?

Is the commit history in my repo a key factor to evaluate for the prize? I've built the app on local PC and didn't push to github during that time and just pushed once at a time before the deadline. Will it make my submission has less chance to get the prize? Is it a minus point for my submission? Or only need to have good code quality and wow factor?
